This annual event raises funds for Walland Elementary School, Townsend Elementary School, Hearts & Hands, Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, Mary Tippett Library, Little River Lumber Company Museum and the Heritage Center.

The most popular event at the Center is back, and better than ever - more games and some returning favorites including the watermelon seed-spitting contest and the skillet throw! Competition in honey, wood and metal working (students), produce, canning, floral design, baked goods and poultry. Historic demonstrations. And the "Best Pie in the Cove" competition, presented in 2011 by Blackberry Farm. See you at the Fair!
