Summer Camp Information

Summer camp registration materials may be obtained:

Goal: For children in this area to realize the value of their heritage and to be proud of who they are.

Our week-long summer day camps will offer children a variety of hands-on activities and learning opportunities. Students entering grades 4, 5, & 6 are eligible to register.

  • Session 1 (June 11-15) Native American Life & History
  • Session 2 (June 18-22) Mountain Culture
  • Session 3 (June 25-29) Native American Life & History
  • Session 4 (July 2,3,5,6) – no camp on July 4  holiday - Mountain Potpourri: A Blend of Mountain Topics (Includes archaeology, animals, and agriculture, among others)
  • Session 5 (July 9 -13) Mountain Culture

Times: Camp runs from 9 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Cost: Each week of camp is $110.00. (Session 4 is $90)

* Students may be dropped off early (between 8 – 8:45 am) and stay late (pick up between 4:15 – 5:30 pm) for an additional fee of $10 per day.

Discounts: Members of the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center are eligible for discounts. (See the back of your membership card).
