
With his decades of experience in museum education and public programming, Curator, Trevor Lanier is well-equipped to guide the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center into its future, reaching new visitors, and preserving the important stories and artifacts of our past for generations to come.
Trevor has been a force in tourism and museums for almost 30 years, sharing his passion for history and the natural world with scholars, students, visitors, tourists, and the merely curious. From universities to resorts and museums, he has conceived and painstakingly executed unique and engaging exhibits, galleries, events, and education programs. Trevor preserves stories and communicates with broad, diverse audiences. His passionate, creative approach to public education and enlightenment ensures his programs continually inspire and attract audiences.
