
Since 2015, Jenn Bowen has been a dedicated educator, working with elementary and middle schoolers. Her love for Colonial and early American history has fueled her passion for teaching and engaging learners in the stories and adventures of the past. As a native of East Tennessee, sharing the history of the region with students holds a significant place in Jenn’s heart.
Prior to education, Jenn spent several years in veterinary medicine in small animal practices, emergency hospitals, and shelters. Her unique skillset spans from education to animal care, and reflects her compassion and deep appreciation for knowledge.

Personal
A Knoxville native, Jenn calls Maryville home with her husband, Dustin, and three amazing children whom she cheers on at volleyball and baseball–and transports to and from practices and activities. Jenn also volunteers with Junior Service League of Maryville, and works with the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians as a troop leader. She has a deep love for animals, nature, the beach, gardening, crafting, musicals, and all things Disney.
