
Katrina Kursell has been with the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center since 2023 ensuring its activities and programs are shared and promoted to tens of thousands of followers in social media.
Trina has a background in Public History working with a variety of museums including the Ft. Thomas Military Museum and the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Cincinnati, Ohio where she has worked to make the museum more accessible. She was deemed a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Andy Beshear in 2024 for her outstanding volunteer efforts.

Personal
Katrina loves to travel and has been all over the world reaching as far as Australia. She hopes to one day visit all 50 states and as many countries as she can.
